Wasn't able to complete my goal of finishing the first book in the Mistborn series throughout this #readathon. But I was still able to make it 500 pages deep into the book and that is something considering I really haven't opened a book since January. I'm back to work this week so I'll have much less time for reading again but I'm going to get a bit more in this beautiful cool morning.

My goals for this round were low and I don‘t think I met them, but that‘s okay! I‘m definitely slumping right now, but I love these readathons because no matter how I‘m feeling during the month I‘m always inspired to read!

It‘s closing in on the final hours of May 23rd and I know I won‘t finish another book before midnight, so here are my stats for #NutsInMay. Original goal was to read 5 books across ebook, audiobook and physical book formats. I ended up reading a total of 10 books: 1 physical, 2 ebooks and the other 7 audiobooks. All in all a good Readathon. Can‘t wait for next month‘s

-I returned War Animals to the library unread, because I have a conflict with the book club meeting time.
-I loved The True Queen.
-I‘m almost done with Another Brooklyn. It‘s a little depressing.
-The Long Drop isn‘t working for me so far, but I‘ll push on for now.
-Death by the Glass is fine so far, with lots of food descriptions so I can‘t read it when I‘m hungry!

Well, I did well on some of #NutsinMay and not so on the other. Met first goal,
to finish the Bowen romance. Totally skipped second goal, to read Deadlocked - but met the other half of that goal by achieving a second #bookspinbingo line. Also read 3.5 of the remaining five (God‘s Secretaries is ongoing) plus a few others, for a total of 7 finished during the readathon. Thanks @Andrew65 for the inspiration!
While I didn‘t meet the #nutsinmay goals I set out (and didn‘t expect to meet anyway), I did actually get through both of the audiobooks I listed as goals and two of the seven print books on that list. I read one print book and one audiobook that were not on the original list. I‘m working my way through another book from the original list, but I won‘t finish it today. Finishing six books when I set out to read nine is great for me. #readathon

Oops totally forgot to post my Day 3 reading for #NutsInMay spent the afternoon running errands So I got a big chunk of Spells Trouble listened to. Not sure much for my other reads.
#NutsInMay Day 2: I didn‘t get any pages read today ☹️ but I did get a to listen to a big chunk of my audiobook. Unfortunately I‘m not enjoying it but I am committed to finishing it.
#NutsInMay Day 1: not a ton of progress but a little. Hopefully I can do some reading sprints tomorrow to push forward.
As I try to find some time and get back into reading - I will participate in this #readathon. I'm hoping to finish Mistborn: The Final Empire this week.

During the #NutsinMay week I accomplished my goals: I read the last 192 pages of Little Fires Everywhere book and also I completed 3 more books: The Bad Mother, Archer's Voice and Before the coffee gets cold. That last one was a short book😉I also started V for Vendetta but yesterday I didn't feel well just like today😣

Overall, a pretty good #NutsInMay readathon week for me!
Final check-in for #NutsinMay. My goal was to be on track for my #bookspinbonanza. I need to read about 200 pages a day to finish all 20 books and I was 600 pages behind when the readathon started. Not only did I get all caught up but I also stayed on track with #potteraday and the #PemberLittens S&S chapter a day. Plus I snuck in a bonus book! Thanks, terrible weather - I owe it all to you! But actual thanks to @Andrew65 for hosting.
