Andrew65 I can‘t stand the stuff! Like peanuts but cannot even stand the smell of peanut butter, and then that oil 🤢

TorieStorieS I‘m not the biggest PB fan- but my husband is and goes through phases with how much stirring he has to do before the organic stuff has the right texture! He hates chunky PB, but that‘s the only one I will have on apples! 1y

IamIamIam I had crunchy peanut butter & grape jelly for lunch!!! Lol, but I don't eat creamy peanut butter. I need a little crunch! And a HUGE round of applause for @Andrew65 for thinking of us all in LitsyLand during the darkest days of 2020 and 2021! I can't express how much I looked forward to daily check ins! 🥰🥰🥰 1y

LiseWorks I am a fan, love it on English muffins and apples on top. Peanut butter and chocolate oh yum, but never with bananas. 1y

kezzlou85 I used to love it when I was a child. Haven't eaten since I was pregnant with my youngest as it made me sick. 1y

Bookwormjillk After I had covid last year toast and butter started to make me violently ill. So I switched to toast and peanut butter and all is well. It was a very strange side effect, but 8 months on it still persists. 1y

slategreyskies @andrew65 when I was a girl, my mom used to force me to make sandwiches for my younger brothers for lunch. I hated having to do it and would always try to get them to agree to peanut butter and honey sandwiches instead of PBJ, since then I wouldn‘t have to spread the jelly, since I always just poured the honey on top. It was an easier sandwich to make. Funny the things we remember. Haha 1y

As for peanut butter😬 cookies are the only truly acceptable form imo. Hate the stuff but the cookies😳 I will devour if left unchecked🤷🏻‍♀️ Weird but true lol. Once u pen the jar, store it upside down. Life hack = no oil. Been doing it for a few years & recommend to all. It‘s less gross🤢too🤣 1y

MaGoose @DieAReader Yes, it does. I don't have too much problem with the PB sticking to the roof of my mouth, even when I eat it with jelly. 1y

DieAReader @TorieStorieS This was my mom & brother, using mom‘s purposely soupy jam & crunchy PB. I always hated having to make it. Still find it gross lol 1y

DieAReader @Andrew65 Super pet peeve is the sticky roof of mouth😬 I do the crunchy when option avail for the cookies but either is good. Mom used to sprinkle white sugar over the PB to try to minimize stickiness but I didn‘t find it any better🤷🏻‍♀️ 1y

DieAReader @Jess861 I wouldn‘t assume that. I took care of someone once who was deadly allergic (Kiwi is part of the peanut allergy). 15 years later she can eat them and all other nuts no problem. It‘s said that allergies can change as often as every 4 years. 1y

CoffeeNBooks I love peanut butter and anything peanut butter flavored! One of my favorite things for lunch or a snack is apple slices and peanut butter. Favorite cookies? Peanut butter cookies! Peanut butter & jelly, peanut butter & banana, and peanut butter & honey all make wonderful sandwiches. 1y

Lizpixie I like peanut butter, but only smooth and only on toast or a sandwich. On its own!!! I don‘t understand y‘all‘s obsession with shoving it in chocolate or eating it with a spoon *shudder* 1y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I love PB, especially with chocolate. Confession time: I don't think I've ever had a PB&J sandwich. Something about the contrasting textures weirds me out.
