Today was my two children‘s first day back at school after the COVID-19 shutdown. I spent the morning rearranging our books and creating this lovely little book nook. Best thing? I now have room for more books!!

My husband has been bored since he‘s home more right now due to reduced work at Delta Airlines. So he made me these hanging book shelves ❤️ And I, of course, immediately filled them.

This has been an exhausting week... but I‘m glad to have the weekend off and some time to unwind and read 😌📚 #bookshelves #tbr

I‘m annoyed that I had to get a different finish for the second bookcase, but I‘m happy to be done with this project. At least until the inevitable tweaks, such as possibly getting an extra shelf.

I‘m not gonna lie. Putting this sucker together was a PITA, but it sure makes me #smile to see the end result. For the next one I‘m seriously considering paying more to have them come here and assemble it. But first I‘ll bask in this accomplishment. #reallyrandomfebruary

Earlier today I helped a friend clean out his mother‘s house, and this evening a neighbor helped me get the box of bookcase into my apartment in the rain. #favor #reallyrandomfebruary

I‘m in the middle of a bookcase reorganization! Today I took this baby to a new home with a coworker. Next step is a trip to IKEA! I had another source in mind that didn‘t work out, but it did get those little wheels turning in my brain...

I think this will conclude my 2019 reading stats- mostly because I like the symmetry of the numbers! Happy 2020 Littens!🥳💥

Here is post 2 of 2 of my spooky/scary/creepy/thriller books. I am not sure I will get all of them read this month, but hopefully I will get a chunk of them done. If anyone has suggestions about where I should start or wants to do a buddy read let me know. Or if you want me to read any to review/report back on let me know that too.

Think I have a few more to add to my shelves - Mix of everything - just ones I haven‘t read or that were suggest to me, some for the husband and kiddos too 😊

This book had been on my tbr list for years. I loved the first portion about the storage of scrolls, codices, chained books, books in presses and on rotating lecterns. The illustrations are a great addition to this book. I was less interested in the engineering of bookstacks in more modern times as it is quite technical, but overall found this book informative and interesting. Do read the appendix which makes me want to re-arrange my own books!

I‘m steadily making my way through these four books during the lovely month of May (and oh! how it‘s been lovely)! I have a few other books I‘d also like to read, hovering just out of sight, but my focus will be on these four until one or two are wrapped up.

I thought about spending today reading the library books I need to finish this week... but instead I decided to totally clear off and reorganize the shelves in my office. 🤷‍♀️

I don't understand what I'm looking at? And the price! Pro tip: buy books you want to read and your shelves will decorate themselves. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

So I organized everything on my #giftcart ... But only the black metal I didn't like... So I bought some funny buttons. Of course mostly in green because it's fitting perfectly in the library. 😊

Some Littens (at first @Jess7 ) come up with this idea #tbrcart . I can't do this, because I own tooooo many unread books. I would need several carts for this. But.... As I collect several items for lovely Littens and I want organise them, I bought this as a #giftcart . 😍😘

So I don't show you the decorated edition, because one, two or more Littens will receive envelopes and parcels in the near future. 😂😍💖 #bookmailismyfavouritemail

Bookcase 2 of 2. Unfortunately my new apartment doesn't have a wall long enough to put my bookcases together, which I'm bummed about, but this one is overflowing with ARCs so it's probably better that it's in my room. The ARCs are triple stacked on the right, with more TBRs double stacked on the left.

Looking at everyone's gorgeous shelves on Litsy has made me crave new shelving with less dead space, but these still make me happy for now.

I promised "after" pictures of my bookshelves! Bookcase 1 of 2. This one is divided evenly between the books I've read on the left and haven't read on the right (those are also double stacked).

The new shelves are starting to come along! I need to hurry up and read so the bottom shelf gets filled up! More artwork will be going on the walls soon as well. We ran out of anchors. Reading in here is magical!

The great bookshelf rearrange of 2017/2018 has occurred. Over the year I put books I finish on my headboard/shelf & at the end of the year I move them all over to my bookshelf. Now my headboard is empty but I have no idea where this years books are going to go come December...yikes!! 😱🤔🤓
