Finished Darling Girl by Liz Michalski. It‘s a reimagining of what happened long after Wendy came back from Neverland. Peter is not a good guy - evil really. Why? There were lots of twists and interesting things that happened, but it was a little dark. Characters were rearranged. First book from my TBR pile for the #notsoscaryathon is The Dead Romantics! I'm only 3 chapters in and already I can tell that I'm going to LOVE this book.

Started the tagged book for the #NotSoScaryAthon by @TheBrightSideGirl . It‘s a reimagining of Peter Pan and one of my Once Upon A Book Club selections. So glad to be getting to one of those! I have 3 more in my stack and undoubtably one on the way. Maybe if I sprinkle my pixie dust all will be well! 🧚📚😊 The other books are my TBR for this Readathon.

I usually read about 11 books per month, but the past two months have been slow for me. Hopefully #Scarathlon2022 will help me get out of my slump. Obviously I spent a good portion of my day off rereading the fuzziest, most autumnal love story I know. This book feels like being hugged and I hope I reread it every Halloween until my copy falls apart! I‘ve never tried any of the American (I assume?) snacks they keep talking about but I really want to now!

Every so often I come across a King that just doesn't do it for me. This was one of those. I might have enjoyed it more with a different narrator.

Just finished listening to this book for three hours today. There was a lot of talking and planning and fighting creepy, crawly monsters with a very tiny bit of romance thrown in.
