I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's 2023 year in review and (of course) have added even more to that never-ending TBR. 🤩 Here is the first page of my 2023 year of books. I wish I could find a reading app that would do this for me. I want a place where I can see everything at one glance and not have to scroll to infinity to find everything. Until then, here's a glimpse of my spreadsheet. Looking at it makes me happy. 😃

lynneamch Wow! Impressive organization! 4mo
dabbe @lynneamch Wish I was this organized re: my house! 🤩😂😍 4mo
bookandbedandtea I use a spreadsheet too. Haven't found anything else I like as well. I haven't included book covers, though, and I love that. Starting asap! 4mo
dabbe @bookandbedandtea It's fun to see it this way, isn't it? If I had the tech ability, I'd try to create an app. Glad to see someone else doing this, too! And the covers were the last idea I had, and I think I like seeing them the most! 🤩😂😍 4mo
AnnR I think LibraryThing has the closest thing to a spreadsheet, as it allows for a lot of ways to control your bookshelves with collections and via the printout options. Having said that, it is kinda clunky and takes a while to get used to and set up. I usually print out my year end stuff from LibraryThing. 4mo

Definitely not the most I‘ve ever read but really enjoyed the year overall.

My two favorite books were Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. Both new authors to me and just blown away! In third place was Kate Quinn‘s historical novels in general. I fell in love with them this year.

Cheers to more reading adventures in 2024. I‘ve set a goal of 100 books this year!

Ruthiella Awesome job! 👍 4mo

I hit my goal 120 books in 2023, including a handful of chunksters. If I counted correctly, I think 39 of them were fiction, the rest were nonfiction, with a lot of biography, memoir, and essays. I have a bunch of fiction on tap for January between #AuldLangSpine with @JenReadsAlot and the #LitsyToB2024, though. Maybe this year the goal will be to hit 50,000 pages…

Ruthiella Great work! 👏👏👏 4mo

So close! I resisted the temptation to count a currently reading book as completed and will just try again in 2023.

Happy New Year!

Leniverse If you started it in 2022 and manage to finish it within three days of 2023 it totally counts and you should just backdate it to 31. December. That's what I do. 😄 1y

2021 was a rough reading year for me. Like many, I found it difficult to focus.

54 books out of my Goodreads goal of 80 - setting my goal for 80 again this year. 8/12 #Authoramonth & 16/24 #Booked2021. Doing both of these challenges in 2022 - they definitely pushed me to find new authors!

So, here's to a better 2022! 🥂

@Soubhiville @Cinfhen @4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage

britt_brooke 54 is still fantastic! 2y
mom2bugnbee @britt_brooke Awww, thanks friend! It truly wasn't a good year for my focus, but I'm ready to get back to it! Already finished one on the car ride home yesterday! 😁 2y

Thanks for the tag @AnneCecilie and @Bookwormjillk ! That took some time and thought.

Honorable mention: A Merry Christmas by Louisa May Alcott

What are your faves in 2021? @TheBookHippie @Catsandbooks @Butterfinger @GingerAntics @Crazeedi @freeatlast1137 @Jari-chan if you haven‘t already posted?

Bookwormjillk Great list! 2y
AnneCecilie Great list and a lot of books I haven‘t heard about before. But I did spot “The Shadow of the Wind” which is an old favorite of mine (edited) 2y
IndoorDame Great list! 2y

Butterfinger I'm tickled to see Shadow of the Wind. That will definitely be on my list. 2y
Texreader @AnneCecilie @Butterfinger I have to laugh because I wasn‘t sure whether to include it. I ended up replacing A Merry Christmas on the list with Shadow of the Wind because I didn‘t want to include holiday books. I liked Shadow, but it was far from my favorite this year. 2y
Catsandbooks Excellent list!! 🎉 2y
Crazeedi I still have to get my list done! 2y

So these are my #Top21of21 in no particular order of preference, but in the order I read them.

This was both easier and tougher than I expected. I managed to narrow it down to 23 and then to exclude 2 was hard. But this is the list today.

Thanks for tagging me @batsy and @Cinfhen

I would love to see your lists if you haven‘t already been tagged @Texreader @RaeLovesToRead @Tove_Reads @IndoorDame @Magpiegem @charl08 @megnews @Cathythoughts

RaeLovesToRead Thanks for the tag! 😊❤ I've already done mine... I also had trouble getting down to 21 from 23 😄 Lots of books on your list that I want to read... 2y
AnneCecilie Edit: I completely forgot the newest Rooney “Beautiful World, Where Are You?” How could I forget that one? But I have no idea of what book to take out of the list. 2y
AnneCecilie @RaeLovesToRead Then I will definitely check it out 2y

KarenUK Such a diverse list…. 💕 2y
Ruthiella Love the Atwood trifecta! ❤️ 2y
IndoorDame @Ruthiella thanks! I went through a rough spell this winter and wasn‘t reading anything at all, and when I got into that it really spoke to me. TheBookHippie @EvieBee It was a good reading year for me! YAY. 2y
Nute Fantastic reading this year! I can‘t believe that I didn‘t include How the Word is Passed on my list. TheBookHippie @Nute I taught How the Word is Passed with the ARC to students this year. It was so powerful. I use my top ten for reads I could not put down and read start to finish it one setting. I added How the Word Was Passed and Sophies World because both were so rich and both taught me and both were huge wonderful discussion pieces with others over many many months. I had to pick a favorite food and lit country, and wanted to pick my favorite Shakespeare! 2y
TheBookHippie @Nute I agree it‘s fun to see all the lists! 2y

Reading through these posts is like a Saturday morning heavenly literary smorgasbord from some of my most favorite people on the planet! Such a delight!💕 2y
Graywacke @Suet624 Saturday 🙂 And I cheated a little, using my LibraryThing library tags to put my list together. The picture is an LibraryThing screen capture 2y
Graywacke @Nute agree, a fun morning. Lots of titles rattling around my head now. 2y
merelybookish Thanks for the tag! I'm impressed that Romeo & Juliet made it! 🙂 2y
GingerAntics Richard III was a good read. I think I dug into that one more than any other play so far. It was so fascinating. That would have to be on my list as well. I‘m having a hard time thinking of 21 books I absolutely loved this year. It was a slower year than normal and I had a lot of bails. 2y
LeahBergen I see many favourites here! 2y
Graywacke @merelybookish I enjoyed R&J so much. (Pericles did not make the cut. 😂 We can discuss tomorrow) 2y
Graywacke @GingerAntics well, to be fair, i did not absolutely love all 21 here. RIII maybe. 2y
Graywacke @LeahBergen 👍 🙂 2y
GingerAntics @Graywacke okay, so you just sort of winged in. That‘s helpful. I agree that Pericles was a real disappointment. 2y
Freespirit Love seeing everyone‘s top reads! 2y
merelybookish I'd be surprised if Pericles made anyone's best list. 2y
Graywacke @GingerAntics not winged. These are 21 favorites for the year. Just that I didn‘t read 21 amazing books. All these are really good though…and some others too. 2y
Graywacke @Freespirit ditto! Thanks. 2y
Graywacke @merelybookish right. But John Gower‘s work, one of the Bard‘s sources, seems actually pretty awesome. Chaucer era English poetry. 2y
GingerAntics @Graywacke winged wasn‘t the right word, but I get what you were saying. I don‘t think I read 21 great books either. I think I found it hard enough to pick 12 last year. 2y
BarbaraBB What a wonderful list! 2y
KarenUK Fantastic list! Loved Hot milk… was on my best of list last year…. 2y
Graywacke @BarbaraBB you‘re so sweet. You also have a pretty fantastic list - (and a bigger and very rich pool to choose from. You read so much great stuff.) 2y
Graywacke @KarenUK thanks! I discovered Levy in the 2019 Booker longlist with The Man Who Saw Everything. Now I‘m trying to read more. Hot Milk is such a quirky terrific thing. 2y
KarenUK @Graywacke I read two of her memoirs this year, and both are on my top 21 list! 2y
Chelsea.Poole I‘m going to try Klara in the new year, I think. Thanks for sharing your list! 2y
Graywacke @KarenUK those are both going on the list. 2y
Graywacke @KarenUK the list - being my list of stuff i want to read after scanning Litsy or other book inspirations. 2y
Graywacke @Chelsea.Poole thanks. Klara is fun voice to spend time with. Hope you enjoy. (If you like audio, it‘s a good option) 2y

BiblioLitten I‘m looking forward to Moon Tiger 2y
CarolynM Some great books there! Hot Milk and Moon Tiger are both favourites and I love the Mantels - I still can't bring myself to read the last one, I like Him too much 2y
Graywacke @sarahbarnes thanks! Enjoy TFM (for what it‘s worth, it evolves a lot from beginning to end) 2y
Graywacke @batsy you read a lot of the best ones. 🙂 (Just need to add Gurnah and Nervous Conditions) 2y
Graywacke @staci.reads right, still two weeks left. Enjoy that vacation. And look forward to your list (but no pressure ☺️) 2y
Graywacke @BiblioLitten i loved Moon Tiger. Hope you enjoy. 2y
Graywacke @CarolynM Another Levy and Moon Tiger fan 🙌 That last Cromwell, well, also it‘s a bit long and slow. I‘m glad I read it though. 2y
stretchkev Klara and the Sun is hitting a lot of top of the year lists, certainly going to take a hard look after making your top of the year. Still afraid of Mantel, so many folks love it, but it is such a big series. 2y
Graywacke @stretchkev Not sure how you might take to Klara. It might be lighter than you expect, some deeper stuff embedded. It's enjoyable. As for Mantel, she's likely to draw you in if you try Wolf Hall. Of course, I'm happy to recommend both. 🙂 2y
LitStephanie OMG thanks for the zoom view tip. I can't believe I never thought of that. Thanks for the tag, I am going to do a post! Read a lot this year, partly because of Litsy. 2y

TrishB @batsy I think you will love both of those. The Pankhurst is a big one, I remember it took me a week to read. But so worth it. 2y
vivastory Great list! I now regret not including the Hendrix on my list. I still need to read the King. I hope to make Later my final book of the year 2y
TrishB @vivastory I thought the Hendrix was massively entertaining 😁 enjoy the King. 2y
Chelsea.Poole Lovely list! 😊Thinking of doing this one in the new year 2y
BarbaraBB Great list. Now I want to read Needless Street and Crying in H Mart! (edited) 2y
Cathythoughts Sorrow and Bliss 👍🏻 2y
TrishB @Chelsea.Poole hope you enjoy when you get to it. 2y
TrishB @BarbaraBB Needless got marketed as horror and its really not. H Mart was a very surprise love for me. 2y

In no particular order, and size of cover being meaningless, here are my #Top21of21. Thanks for the tag @batsy !

Suet624 Not even sure how to make this collage. What app did you use? 2y
Cinfhen Great list!!! 2y
Lcsmcat @Suet624 I used LiveCollage and made four squares, then put them together to make the final. That‘s why they‘re in no particular order! 2y

Suet624 Got it. Thanks! 2y
batsy Nice! Both the Dickens and the Tolstoy are on my TBR. And happy to see more House of Mirth love 🙂 2y
merelybookish Wow what a great year of reading! Some chunksters! 2y
Lcsmcat @batsy I loved War & Peace. I won‘t be one of those people who rereads it every year (too many other books!) but I expect I‘ll revisit it at some point. 2y
Lcsmcat @merelybookish I decided not to fret about how many books I read this year and dive into some I‘d been putting off instead. 2y
jlhammar Yes, Priestdaddy! So good! 2y
Lcsmcat @jlhammar I was laughing out loud! 2y
Chelsea.Poole I just checked out this one from the library and glad to see it here. Great list! 2y

Thanks for the tag @BarbaraBB @youneverarrived this is my #Top21of21

To make it easier to whittle down my faves, I left out my rereads of Austen and Shakespeare. It was a very good reading year again, enriched by the many group reads here on Litsy.

I know lots of people have been tagged already; do you want to give it a go @Bookwomble @nathandrake1997 @Smarkies @mklong @sprainedbrain @BiblioLitten @AnneCecilie @Graywacke @Lcsmcat @charl08 🙂

Graywacke This is cool. How many books have you read this year? 2y
batsy @Graywacke I keep a reading log in a notebook; I'll have to check and let you know! I stopped doing the GR challenge because it felt like too much pressure 😅 2y
merelybookish Great list! I plan to add some to my TBR. And so many NYRB books! I know some will make mine too! 2y
See All 43 Comments
mklong Great list! Thanks for the tag, I‘ll have to think about it 2y
Graywacke @batsy oh - challenges - no no no. Not for me either. That‘s reading buzz-killer stress for me. (My GR challenge is set, but it‘s really not challenge in my head.) 2y
TrishB Some great ones there 👍🏻 2y
nathandrake1997 PIRANESI ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Great list @batsy ❤️ Thank you so much for the tag ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 2y
vivastory Tove strikes again! Wonderful list, taking a screenshot for future reference. I really need to prioritize Sarah Waters. I've only read one book by her, but I enjoyed it & keep meaning to read more 2y
vivastory Also, The Diviners 💙 2y
charl08 Love the ra ge on these lists! 21 is hard though... 2y
charl08 Or even, *range*... 2y
Nute Fantastic reading this year! So happy to see the endorsement for Girl A. I am discovering so many new books because of everyone‘s choices. Reading through these posts is like a Saturday morning heavenly literary smorgasbord from some of my most favorite people on the planet! Such a delight!💕 2y
LeahBergen I see many that we read together! 😊 2y
BarbaraBB What a great list. Like @LeahBergen I recognize some and the ones I don‘t I want to read now! 🤍 (edited) 2y
batsy @merelybookish Thank you! The NYRB club contributes so many highlights to my reading year 🙂 2y
batsy @mklong Thank you and I'm looking forward to yours! 2y
batsy @TrishB Thanks, Trish! It was a good reading year :) 2y
batsy @nathandrake1997 So much love for the book! Thank you and I'm so keen to see yours ♥️ 2y
batsy @vivastory Yes, Tove 💕 Sarah Waters hits the sweet spot for me in terms of writing, characters, and plot. And once again thank you for kick-starting #nyrbbookclub it's lead us to many gems 🙌🏽 2y
batsy @charl08 Haha! Reading *did* help me with my rage in 2021 😁 2y
batsy @Nute Thank you and that's a lovely way to put it. It's the best time of year to see everyone's faves 💕 And yes, Girl A left a definite impression on me even months later. 2y
batsy @LeahBergen So many fantastic books that we read together 💕 2y
batsy @BarbaraBB Thank you! Here's to many more discoveries in 2022 😁❤️ 2y
Leftcoastzen Yay! Trollope! 2y
batsy @Leftcoastzen 🙌🏽 2y
batsy @Graywacke I think if I ever get back to the GR reading challenge it's by tricking my brain in the same way 😆 (Apparently I'm up to 93 books so far this year, and I've taken myself by surprise...it felt like I never had time to read...) 2y
CarolynM Lovely to see the Furrowed Middlebrows and KJ Charles on your list 🙂 2y
batsy @CarolynM The KJ Charles was absolute pleasure. I read like a kid again! And the FMs, even when imperfect, always deliver in terms of leaving an impression 💙 2y
Graywacke @batsy Sounds like a good year. 2y
Liz_M How did I miss this list? The employees was really a unique, intriguing read! And all the nyrb and a Trollope! I should get to The Changeling 2y
Suet624 You just reminded me of the hearing trumpet! What a fun book that one was. 2y
batsy @Liz_M The Employees and the Changeling both have a kind of vibe that sticks...hard to forget! 2y
batsy @Suet624 It was just so wonderfully bizarre and funny! I think about it all the time. 2y
andrew61 Some intersect picks , will definitely be picking some for 2022 2y
britt_brooke Definitely stacking some of these! 2y
youneverarrived Great list! I spot a few nyrb books 😁 that cover of A Month in the Country is beautiful. Love Sarah Waters 🤍 2y
Billypar The Changeling was so much fun! I need to prioritize Piranesi in 2022 - I've heard enough to know I need to pick it up. 2y
batsy @youneverarrived Thank you! And I think for me Sarah Waters can do no wrong 💜 2y
batsy @Billypar I started off my year with Piranesi and I have not been able to stop thinking about it! 2y
GatheringBooks Oohlala! Totally missed this one. Glad to see so many #NYRBBookClub titles on this list! I have to move Piranesi up my TBR stack. 2y
batsy @GatheringBooks Didn't win over everyone with its style, I think, but I really enjoyed it 🙂 2y

I tag @RaeLovesToRead @MaureenMc @Reggie @RamsFan1963 @swynn @BiblioLitten @Branwen @merelybookish @ozma.of.oz @rubyslippersreads

If you‘d like to share your 21 favorites read in 2021, I‘d love to see them. 😃

CarolynM Screenshotting for future reference 🙂 Tiddler's Ground was on my list last year. I'm looking forward to reading All's Well - it's not been released here yet. 2y
Ruthiella @CarolynM The Mona Awad title was a head scratcher but I liked that about it. Tom Tiddler was near perfect - sharp yet sweet. 2y
Centique Oh wow I‘m so glad to see Murderbot and Gideon! And Janet Frame! You and I have favourites across the spectrum don‘t we 😂😂😂 2y
See All 38 Comments
batsy The Wind in the Willows!! Eternal fave 💚 2y
BarbaraBB I loved Intimacies too and am now looking forward to All‘s Well! 2y
RaeLovesToRead I'm looking forward to reading Sovereign next year 😊😀 Thanks for the tag!!! 2y
BookmarkTavern Thanks for the tag! 💕 2y
merelybookish Oh wow, Prep! I love that book! Could there be a better prep school boy name than Cross Sugarman?! Thanks for the tag. Fun to reflect on a year of reading. 2y
erzascarletbookgasm Oh, my favourite Austen book! 😊 2y
MaureenMc Thanks for the tag! 😊 2y
Cinfhen Ohhh, I see some #ToB22 up here!!! I‘m re-reading Prep in 2022! I hardly remember it. 2y
rubyslippersreads Thanks for the tag! I‘ll have to think about this a bit. 😊 2y
Ruthiella @Centique We do! But especially in SFF! 🚀❤️ 2y
Ruthiella @batsy I read it for the first time in 2021 and fell in love 🥰. 2y
Ruthiella @BarbaraBB I‘ll be curious to hear what you think. It seems to be a bit of a marmite book! 😃 2y
Ruthiella @RaeLovesToRead The Shardlake series is solid historical fiction- very satisfying. You‘re welcome! 2y
Ruthiella @ozma.of.oz You are welcome! 😊 2y
Ruthiella @merelybookish I loved Prep. 100% different from my public high school a decade earlier, but adolescence is adolescence...so much of it was recognizable to me. 2y
Ruthiella @erzascarletbookgasm I re-read it this year and completely understood it differently than when younger. “You pierce my soul!”❣️ (edited) 2y
Ruthiella @MaureenMc You‘re welcome 😊. Will The Cazalet Chronicles be on your list I wonder? 2y
Ruthiella @rubyslippersreads You‘re welcome 😊. It‘s a daunting task, I know. 2y
Reggie The Library at Mt Char!!! I love that book. I will have my list later. Thanks for the tag! 2y
Ruthiella @Reggie I‘d love to see your list. I doubt we have much/any overlap which makes it more exciting! 2y
Nute Fantastic reading this year. So happy to see the endorsement for Detransition, Baby. I am discovering so many new books because of everyone‘s choices. Reading through these posts is like a Saturday morning heavenly literary smorgasbord from some of my most favorite people on the planet! Such a delight!💕 2y
Ruthiella @Nute “Literary Smorgasbord”! Perfect analogy. 🤩 Detransition Baby was messy and raw in parts but that‘s what I loved about it. 2y
LeahBergen Ursula Orange and Pym and Wodehouse! 👏🏻 2y
Ruthiella @LeahBergen 2021 was the first time I‘d ever read Jeeves and Wooster! What was I waiting for? So funny. 😂 2y
LeahBergen I‘ve told myself to read more Wodehouse next year! 2y
Ruthiella @LeahBergen I‘m going to try to read the Jeeves and Wooster book in order-not all next year, but starting then. 2y
LeahBergen I‘m reading them in order, too. I read the first novel and then realized that the 3 (?) short story collections predate that. So I went back and read those. You know, like the typical obsessive reader? 😆 2y
Ruthiella @LeahBergen Obsessive? 😂 Sounds pretty normal to me. 2y
rubyslippersreads @Nute Literary Smorgasbord is the perfect description! My 2022 TBR is going to be overflowing before the year even starts. 😄 2y
Leftcoastzen Yay Trollope ! I read a Janet Frame this year , it was pretty amazing 2y
Ruthiella @Leftcoastzen I ❤️ Trollope. I‘ve only read Frame‘s autobiographies. I think her fiction might be too fanciful for me, but I should try it! 2y
mhillis Great list! I have Intimacies and All‘s Well on hold now. Looking forward to next year‘s reading already!! 2y
Ruthiella @mhillis I hope you like them. I‘m also thinking about books planned for next year! Readers are incorrigible like that! 😂 2y
Christine Such a fun Top 21! Like @merelybookish I got excited when I saw Prep - an all-time fave for me, too. 2y
Ruthiella @Christine Excellent to find another fan! It‘s my favorite of the three books I‘ve read so far from Sittenfeld. 2y

Suet624 Wait, How Beautiful We Were was in your top 21? I've been recommending that folks NOT read it. And I love how many people recommend We Begin at the End. It's a sleeper that somehow folks are reading. It hasn't received the press that it should from the media reviewers. 2y
Megabooks Gosh! 21 out of 505…that‘s going to take a minute. 😂 glad to see the Patchett there. I‘m so happy you enjoyed it. 2y

This was harder than I thought!
Choosing just 10 was so difficult so I ended up with 12 this year but it could have been even more!! My goal was 111 books, I achieved 128. The last few years my goal has been the same, 111 books. A couple of years I've read 30 to 50 more than so I guess that means I'm down a little this year 🤷‍♀️
So here they are, my top 12 books for 2020 in no particular order except perhaps the order read 😊 Cont. In comments

TheHeartlandBookFairy

📚 My top 12 includes:
📚 Seven historical fiction.
📚 Three memoirs.
📚 One paranormal/ psychological suspense.
📚 Three local authors.
📚 Five audiobooks.
📚 Three Kindle books.
📚 Five advanced copies to read for review for the author.
📚 One debut novel (solo debut).

Continued once more in next comment...

My year in books. The most popular book I read was also the longest at 1,000 pages. I‘m not surprised, however, because it‘s really good. I surpassed my reading goal by 2 books. Not pictured is highest rated book I read, Just Mercy. Again I‘m not surprised. Overall, not too shabby!

Reggie You are a reading badass. 5y
sprainedbrain @HOTPock3tt I backed my goal for this year down a little. I decided there‘s no reason to keep increasing it every year and have to stress about it. As long as we are all reading and enjoying what we like, it doesn‘t matter. ❤️ 5y
sprainedbrain @Reggie I might as well be a badass at something! 😂 5y

My year in review! Educated was my favorite book of 2018. Excited to finish the Chronicles of Narnia this year, tackle #MountTBR and #Booked2019, and read even more diverse books.

I exceeded my Goodreads Challenge of 36 books. Here's a breakdown of how that reading went. Not everything was great, but seeing that 1/5 were 5 star reads, I'd say it was a successful reading year. Funny that the most popular book was really one of my least favorite ever. I'll set 2019 at 36, too, but aim for 48 for the 4th year in a row.

My #YearInReview 🙌

Beside the above it is worth mentioning...

- I have read more nonfiction than ever
- I have listened to more audios than ever
- I haven‘t read as many poetry and short story collections as earlier years, but that‘s alright

Personally, 2018 was the year I

- became a psychologist (!!)
- struggled with being unemployed
- interacted more than ever with wonderful Littens ❤️
- and a lot of other great things

Itchyfeetreader Congrats and here‘s to a happy 2019 5y

My #Goodreads #YearInReview! 🙌🏻 This was a crazy year and I barely made my goal of 55 books, but at the last minute I pulled through! Thanks #LitsyFamily for all the excellent book recommendations! ❤️

One of my 2019 goals is to get better about tracking in a timely fashion. I often forget to update and then I risk missing a book altogether in my tracking. So I probably missed a couple. I‘ll work on that in 2019!

Kaye Glad you reached your number. I need to be a bit organized too. I signed back up in Goodreads just to keep track of what I read in the coming year. There‘s really not a way to list them all in here unless I want to flip back through a gazillion posts to find them 5y

I just stepped up my reading game in late September. I didn‘t keep good records until this month. One of my reading goals in 2019 is to keep better records of my reading accomplishments. December looks awesome, though! #2018

This breakdown is interesting - I don‘t log many picture books so that‘s why the ➕ sign

hermyknee That‘s a cute paper you wrote on! 5y
MrsGreen @hermyknee It‘s an actual library check out card! 5y
LibrarianRyan I only log the picture books I review. So I get the + 5y
MrsGreen @LibrarianRyan It would be way too much work to get every single picture book we librarians read!! 5y
LibrarianRyan @MrsGreen I know!! And I‘m not even a children‘s librarian anymore. 5y

Another portion of my #Goodreads #YearInReview. 😁

I thought I had a rather blah year in terms of enjoyable reads, but it turned out to be my norm. 😆👏🏻

Most of my 2018 books were #bookclub selections. I can never get into a slump with all the bookclubs @BookBabe and I belong to, lol. 😁

8little_paws 413 average pages!? Wow! 5y
MrBook @8little_paws I like big books and I cannot lie! 😎 5y
