This book is in my Library Thing books so I have it somewhere (a lot of my books are not shelved since my move). Anyway I had and still have this plan (among many ) to take up knitting. Maybe even a sweater one day.

I am trying out a new-to-me creative hobby - art journaling! I‘ve done the front cover (both sides) and the first page. We‘ll see if the hobby sticks but I am enjoying it! And hopefully, the more I do it, the better I‘ll get. 🎨
***And before anyone yells at me, I had a book whose spine broke and the pages started falling out, so I decided to repurpose them into art! 😂

Finally have my list together for August‘s #bookspin. Not totally happy with it, but my brain is not braining and I had to throw a couple things on there when I realized that my original list duplicated titles. 🤦🏻♀️ There are five NetGalley titles that publish in August, a sequel I‘ve been dying to get my hands on for six months, #CampLitsy, and books I really want to read. We‘ll see how the month goes.
pickReread Unraveling for a traveling book club at my library. I hosted today‘s meeting at the NRT (Natural Resources Trust) Sheep Pasture. It was just as good as when I read it the first time — & the book club attendees agreed! How can you not love a book which begins, “Sheep don‘t look like they‘d be slippery.” It explores the process of making a sweater — from shearing the sheep, to spinning & carding the wool, to dyeing and (finally) knitting.👇🏻

January‘s #bookspin is a category - The Storygraph‘s Genre Challenge and I‘m choosing Phoebe and Her Unicorn as my selection for prompt #6: A Graphic Novel by a Woman or Nonbinary Person. #Doublespin is The Songbird and the Heart of Stone. I‘ve been on the fence about starting this one because the next book isn‘t out yet and I KNOW I will want it as soon as I‘m done with this one. Bingo board to come later. 🤩
