Reorganizing our library annex and decided to hire some book movers. Not sure I‘d recommend their services since they‘re more interested in chewing on books and playing on empty bookcases than moving books, but I guess you can‘t win them all. At least they‘re cute. #catsoflitsy #bookhousecats

I‘ve lived with 7 cats in my adult life (not many considering I‘m in my 40s), and not one has ever hung out on my bookshelves until #Klaus. Life has been totally bananas but I‘ve survived! Report cards & conferences are done. We are moved in and almost unpacked. Aside from a few bumps in the road (not realizing how much crap my boyfriend had in the apartment, our new mattress being delivered to my mom‘s house instead of mine, & getting my cats moved in earlier than expected), it‘s been pretty smooth goings & I cannot WAIT to be settled so I can read more!!!!

I often show my mom pictures of Littens ' Pets. She decided to send me a picture of Lisa (Лиза) 🐈. This cat lives in our country house 🏡. She used to be afraid to go into the house. She slept in the booth outside, but now she love to come into the house and sleep on the sofa 🛋!

We had to put my sweet boy to sleep today and I‘m a wreck. Cyress was my husband and I‘s first cat together and HOLY HELL, losing him was probably the hardest thing I‘ve ever been through. I‘ve cried more in that past couple of days than I have my whole life. Things are so tough right now, but I know he‘s at peace finally, so at least I can take comfort in that. 😿 Great Valentine‘s Day, btw. 👌🏻 #kingcyress #catsoflitsy

After 9 years of being the center of my little family, Puck was diagnosed with a very aggressive oral cancer and we had to let him go on Friday. He was 16 years old. Puck loved reading, since it was the only time I was still enough to give him the cuddles he knew he deserved. Shy, needy, and loving - I will miss him more than he knows.

5. Have access to every book ever. I don‘t need humans, I‘ll talk to other books/inanimate objects about them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My parents got some awful news regarding their cat, Drifty, today. We‘re waiting on test results to confirm it but it looks like he has FIP, which he would have contracted as a kitten sometime before he wandered into their lives and hearts. I only see Drifty a couple times a year but he‘s stolen my heart and I‘m praying that Christmas wasn‘t the last time I get to see this spunky fellow.

Here‘s another of my little cat Flour and my roommates cat Nina for National Cat Day (with a guest appearance of Adam Levine in pillow form 😹) and the size difference between the two. A total of at least 11 lbs difference.
