After our current reads end in December, I will be stepping back from leading #Pemberlittens.

I‘ve really enjoyed our years exploring Jane Austen‘s work together! What started as a bright spot in quarantine evolved into a fun adventure.

Thank you to everyone who read along, voted, planned, posted, hosted, attended watch parties, or enjoyed the group with us.

I absolutely loved this witty and sometimes slightly snarky (but in a good way) look at the Jane Austen fandom. Yaffe, who is a Janeite, writes about her experiences interviewing fellow Jane Austen enthusiasts and attending a JASNA Annual General Meeting. If you‘ve seen her give a presentation on the fandom (I have twice) her writing style is much like her presentations. As I told one of my IRL friends ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Life has been incredibly busy, especially thanks to work and navigating some personal things. Not much down time, but I‘m aiming to read 20 hours for #AwesomeApril . I haven‘t made it in the last few months, but it‘s been fun to see what I can do!

My two loves in one (well, two!) fabulous boxes. All the little personal touches: salt licorice, balm from my favorite Etsy shop, Penzey's gear!!!!, treats for Joseph. katy4peas @BethM yes! You can sign up with interest in a pen pal and the postal book club. Or specifically for the Midnight in Austenland by Shannon Hale one. That is the first one we are doing, but you can put down that you have interest for a different title. Very flexible! @sprainedbrain made the form and can answer more questions! 4y

I think with this many people, Litsy posts are maybe not going to be the easiest way to communicate as we plan and discuss.
