Went to Barnes & Noble and bought everything but books! 😂 Damn you 75% off sale! Also this mug wasnt on sale but im mad i didnt buy it! Little known fact no matter where i go people think i work there! Its so bizarre and this mug is so perfect!

@ErinSueG This shelf is exclusively Barnes & Noble leather bound classics. It‘s not our entire collection though, we have a few on other shelves. This was several years of birthdays and Christmases for me, and many 50% off sales over the last few years. I also have an older B&N leather bound edition of Jane Austen novels that I‘ll be doing a giveaway with soon. 😊
This shit makes me sad. I know a lot of people still think of B&N as the Fox Books of the real world, out to get the independent bookstore, but what so many people forget is that these stores created community hubs in places that may not have had one before, and gave lots of people access to books who might not otherwise have had a wide variety. I‘m sad to see them in a decline which appears to be due to their own leadership‘s choices.

I live in what is teecchhnniiccallyyy a city, but only because we have one of everything. One sushi place, one Targé, and one Barnes & Nobles. And I'm really sad. Not only was the place half toy store, but the new section is completely gone and everything is alphabetical, instead of by sections. I feel like I've been robbed of magic. It's hard to find random books when everything is cold and predictable. Oh well, I found a Tiny Luna ❤

Ok, I didn't see this coming. B&N sent me a $10 gift card for being a member? Is it because I spend so much money? Eh, I'll take it. Looks like it's time to head to the book store!
The only Black Friday shopping I do. For three years running now I wait for Barnes & Noble to open their doors early so I can pick up a ton of signed books. About 95% of these will be prizes for work at Summer Reading Program Kickoff and Camp Read-a-Lot. The remaining will be for holiday and birthday gifts and entries for next year's MLA Conference Silent Auction. Money well spent, I think. #allthebooks #signedcopy #giftsgalore
