Greetings from the house of sickness!
My son went on a school trip and the gift he brought home was Covid. None of us have had it before, but we're all fully vaxxed and boostered, so it isn't *too* terrible.
I committed to entirely too many things this month. I finished the May book for #bobwhitebuddies so I'm only a book behind. I did manage to finish this month's reading for #europacollective and #KLBR. I'm behind on #beyondtheyellowbrickroad.
Fell three short of completing my June #BookSpinBingo board. I did finish both my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin books.

A couple of long books that I hope to read during my vacation at the end of July.
Several buddy reads since I might want to join too many
pickThis is a soft pick, and mostly because I love the illustrations. I met the author during the Greater Charlotte Bookcrawl and she explained the layout of the books - clearly designed to be used for teaching. I‘d hoped for more Dr. Seuss‘s ABC, but the short phrases for each letter lack that silliness and joy. The illustrations are delightful, though. (This is my #doublespin for June)

This is the first time I didn't complete both my BS and DS books. I did finish my #booksipn book (Bitter House), but I lost my Paperwhite and didn't feel like reading on my phone, and barely even started Haven (which is my #doublespin). I've since found it, and now I have no excuse not to finish it. So hopefully, I can manage to finish it this month.

I read both my #BookSpin and my #DoubleSpin but no other books from my list 😅 Therefore, no #BookSpinBingo again. But both my Spins were great books, I'm fine with that.
