Everybody, please give your furbabies an extra hug and kiss for me tonight. My beautiful Nala baby passed away unexpectedly. She was the sweetest kitty and would be perfectly content to sit in my lap all day. This is the 2nd kitty I‘ve lost in six months. 😞

It's been a roller coaster life lately. Just as I was starting to get a handle on pregnancy #3, life was rocked yet again. Just over a week ago we made the difficult decision to say goodbye to one of the best reading buddies a girl could ask for. Monty had been diagnosed with lymphoma in October, and the fighter in him outlived his prognosis by 3.5 months. But in the end, it was time to say goodbye. There's an empty place in our home.
Today is my last day with my current kindle, Emma (yes, her name is Emma 😝). Yes, I am one of those weirdos who gets irrationally attached to her electronics, especially one that has been by her side for 6+ years, faithfully feeding her biggest & most favorite vice. But I figure if anyone would understand such an attachment, it would be Littens! Time to let this old girl move on to new hands, while I welcome a new kindle into mine — name TBD 😂♥️
I'll always miss my baby boy. I'm also sadly putting down our cat, Jenny today. She hasn't been doing well for weeks, she's 17, and she has stopped eating or drinking.
I‘m so sorry for missing out on so many fun Litsy things lately— especially sorry to @River_Voice my #freakyfriday buddy. But Cassie & I are reaching the end of our time together, and I haven‘t read much of anything lately. This past month has been filled with vet visits, new medications & subcutaneous fluids, but I think it‘s time to wave the white flag. She is so tired & uncomfortable. We have a vet visit scheduled for tomorrow morning. So sad.

Yesterday my sweet old lady, Tiger, passed away. She was my constant companion for over 15 years. My husband and I miss her so much. It's extremely weird to not have her here with us. 💔
It's been a rough couple of days here. Hannah was attacked by a loose dog while she and my aunt were on their Thursday night walk. My aunt wasn't injured, thank goodness, but Hannah was killed.
I spent yesterday wandering around and trying to find some solace in story, with varying results. I'm both keenly aware of Hannah's loss and struggling to believe in it, because grief's fun that way.
I miss her so much. She was a bright spot in my world.
Today I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, Stinky. 18 years is a very long time, but so short as well. I know I made the right decision to end his suffering, but my god does this hurt. #loveyoutothemoonandback #mykitty #brokenhearted
