Keeping my tbr light this month as track will be in full swing and the school year is starting to wind down! #tbr
#bookspin #doublespin for April! Only 4 new books on the list as have also been balancing 2 book club reads, and also doing #roll100 - getting to read lots of interesting stuff though! Although my TBR is still not getting any smaller 🙈
March hasn‘t been a huge reading month for me, but I did read both of this month‘s spins, finish one of my super intimidating chunksters, and am on track to finish the other at the beginning of April. I can‘t wait to be done with it! And I‘m looking forward to some new spins and a month of brighter, fluffier, more springtime appropriate reading! #bookspin #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
Tentative April #bookspin list. I don‘t think I‘ll have time to start anything on this list based on the things I currently have in progress and my workload this week, so it probably won‘t change. It‘s always fun to play with colors, backgrounds, and fonts in Canva, even if I don‘t get through much of the list.
Well friends, there is only a week left of March! What even! I'm not going to lie, I've been way more into playing Stardew Valley this week than reading, so maybe a new list is what I need to spice things back up 😂 If you're interested in spinning along for April, it's time to think about your lists. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is hoping to read!!
As always, the details about this challenge can be found on my blog at the link below ⬇
I finished six books in April. Nothing really blew me away, but the Cat Sebastian was my favorite. It was a #roll100 selection that also became a #bookspin selection.
I also acquired a couple books in connection with indie bookstore day and shuffled a few things into and out of the LFL at the community center.
#wrapup
#BookspinBingo No bingo for April but 13 books finished and 1 DNF. Looking forward to tomorrows numbers.
Tbr is a little lite this month but that is because track has started and I am nearing the end of the school year!
How is it April already??? Time for a brand new photo challenge… looks like a fun one! #weremember @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Eggs
Here‘s my list for April‘s #bookspin #bookspinbingo hoping I get to them all this month! @TheAromaofBooks
April #bookspinbingo plans!
Jumped down to 301-320 on my TBR for these selections… I added these in 2014 and, for some reason, I was really interested in reading George Bernard Shaw at the time 🤷🏻♀️
At first blush, I‘m not super excited about many of these, but hopefully that means that I‘ll be pleasantly surprised by what I do manage to read 🤞
My #bookspin list for #bookspinbingo APRIL..
#8 (Waking Gods) could change to the first book (Sleeping Giants) in The Themis Files if I don't finish it before the end of the month...but I should finish it.
@theAromaofBooks
Put my #bookspin #doublebookspin #bookspinbingo list together for April. I chose books with blue or gray spines to match the April Showers theme.
@TheAromaofBooks
Had a pretty good month, enjoyed all my reads this month. We Ride Upon Sticks and Remote Control were both my favorites. But really liked all of them
2 Physical Books
3 EBooks
Had to read Abandoned London on the Netgalley app in my phone.🙄
4 were ARC's/Galleys
I still have to review The Sea of Lost Girls, but it was a good mystery/thriller.
I love doing the monthly wrap ups because then I can see how much I really did read during the month. I thought I finished hardly any books in April, but apparently I did!
Track season starts next week which will cut down on my reading time so my tbr might be a little ambitious but I am going to go for it! #apriltbr
I am getting my books together for April's #bookspinbingo ! Feeling kind of pumped for the coming month and all the books on my list!
My April Reading! Not sure if I‘m going to drop Bel Canto or not - I can‘t get into it!
Thanks to a late-night finish, I read 13 books in April, 3873 pages. This year still isn‘t up to last year‘s averages, but, well, this year isn‘t last year. I had one DNF, but including that one I scratched 7 off my #bookspin list and am working on May‘s list today.
My (Hopefully) April Reading
I didn't get to order from the library so I hope I can find most of these online. If not, c'est la vie.
#ChildrensClassicRead2020 - Twig
GR discussion The Line of Beauty, Joseph and His Brothers, 1Q84, and Shirley
#YAApril - The Memory of Light and Chain of Gold
#HeyCarrots - Anne of Avonlea
#NewberyEpicChallenge - Tales from Silver Lands and Ginger Pye
#NordicNoir - The Stranger, The Sandman, The Purity of Vengeance
April stats:
17 books read, 7 fiction, 10 nonfiction.

Best nonfiction: #NothingToEnvy

Good month. I finished quite a few carryovers from March, caught up 2 related series, and rounded out the month with some buddy reads and lots of picture books and short reads. Just what I needed, it left me with only 2 to carryover to May and it feels like a bit of a clean slate/fresh start.

April Wrap-Up!! I haven‘t posted reviews of all of these books yet, but it was so nice to get some of these that have been on my TBR forever knocked out! I also enjoyed every one of my reads this month, other than The Hawkman!

Here are a few of the photo challenges for the upcoming month. I was going to post them all separately but I like to see them in one place.

Here is the photo challenge from April from @Jess7 😊 #ReadingResolutions 🐣💐🐇

My April round up, best would be Saga, Hark, A Vagrant and (surprisingly) The Call. #aprilbookshowers #aprilroundup #graphicnovellove #bestofapril #aprilstats
I don't make specific TBRs, but I do like to direct my reading in some way. So for my #AprilTBR I have decided that half of the books I read will have been written before 1982 (when I was born), and I want to read at least two books from genres I don't usually choose. I'm thinking one western and one romance, any suggestions?
