Here‘s my full list of reads for the #LitsyAtoZ challenge hosted by @Texreader

A very interesting history of the 26 letters we currently use in the English alphabet, how each of them came to be used today, as well as other interesting topics concerning language such as the many different methods of teaching kids how to read, encrypted communication and ciphers, fonts, different forms of handwriting, how the qwerty order came to be, signs and symbols, and many more.

My final tally for #LitsyAtoZ for 2020
I was able to get 22 books read by using a combination of Titles and Author‘s names, curse you Q, X, Y, and Z.
Hopefully I can get those letters in 2021!

Organized my "read but keeping" shelves today, and alphabetized by author. Took forever, but I'm pretty happy with the result! Now I need to tackle my TBR, which will be a bit more intensive... ?

Psyched to do #LitsyAtoZ this year! My extra layer of complexity: no cishet abled white dudes. I read so few of them anyway, so I don‘t foresee this being a huge problem. Onwards! #AbecedarianTBR #LitsyAtoZ2020

Here is my completed list for #LitsyAtoZChildrens, all picture books!
As always, Q was a pain. I am 2 books away from #LitsyAtoZGN which I am hoping to conquer when the kids dad gets home. I can have computer time (on my laptop) because they think it is work, but not reading time. Until it's bedtime reading time.

Whether it really must be a Christmas Related Item .. Here is my best from today's efforts, at 3 x 20 for 60 😄 The chocolate Toblerone, and Unicorn Onesie PJs, seem most opportune for the winter holidays.

#WinterGames @Clwojick 🦄

#WinterGames Team #ReadNosedReindeer Only one game today as we start getting busier with the holidays but this one seems fun and easy. 3 points/word for a total of 78 points! Repost with your answers!

Only 4 letters to go for the #LitsyAtoZchallenge
Now I just have to narrow down which book I want to read for E and U.
X and Z are pretty much picked, since I only have one book on my shelves for those letters. 😅

#TeamStoker let's play this game but let's up the participation point to 3 points!!! Aaaaaand GO!!!
#Scarathlon

Here‘s the next mini-game #TeamSlaughter! I think it‘ll be a fun one! Let‘s try to keep the books to mysteries, suspense, psychological thrillers, or Halloween. They should be books you‘d want to read or have enjoyed. This list can then be used as an access point for recommendations! Have fun with it! 🖤

part of 1 of the #BBRC is quite simple. Read a book for every letter of the alphabet. We have quite a few participants doing special books. I believe it is @4thhouseontheleft who is doing all marginalized or feminist picture books (sorry if I got that wrong)

I love little things like this gets your mind thinking 😊

Good Morning from Hawarden!
Sun's shining. Birds are singing. Books are beckoning.
#readingretreat @Mitch @squirrelbrain @scripturient @RachelO @Leniverse @eraderneely @jhod @Oryx
Tagged book was a gift from Mitch and I love it. Thanks Mitch! 😘😘😘😘

I wasn‘t going to do any more challenges... but I have a list of non-challenge books that I want to read in 2019, and I was able to almost fill up the alphabet with those. So I added a Q, U, V, and X from my tbr and now I‘m all signed up!
Thanks to the wonderful Gloria for setting this up again! See her original post for the link to sign up yourself. 😃

I intended to post my completed #LitsyAtoZ list after finishing Z for Zachariah and then…🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, here it is! I had a good mix of genres this year so it‘s hard for me to pick a favorite out of this group.

Whoo hoo! 10 to go and I've got a few planned out so I'm not in bad shape!!! I'm going to have to go with authors soon, I think, but so far I've used all titles for the challege! #LitsyAtoZ @BookishMarginalia 💜

Dipping into this hero history of the alphabet! Evidently, M first appeared in Egyptian hieroglyphs 4,000 years ago! And it means water... maybe that is why I love to swim 🤔....

Your name with the letters in alphabetical order. Lol
Mine is Aciilnt🤔 What's yours?

I‘m going to attempt #LitsyAtoZ Reading Challenge 2018. If you would like to participate checkout the link posted on @BookishMarginalia ‘s Litsy page.
#LitsyChallenges - #ReadingResolutions

Ta-daaaaa! #LitsyAtoZ 2017 is complete! Couldn‘t believe I ended up with two options for V, one ended up on O. Also, way too many titles and names begin with A, C, and R. Leigh Bardugo wins with three on this list; I filled it in as things fit and read several of hers in January. Fun, low-key challenge if you‘re looking to join in next year!

Got the toddler a leapstart for Christmas. It's all he's wanted to play with which makes me pretty proud! Learning his alphabet here. 😄 He also appears to be a lefty like his mum!

#LitsyAtoZ is back for 2018! Follow @BookishMarginalia for the link to sign up. I‘m so excited, out of all the challenges I tried last year, this is the only one I completed.

#LitsyAtoZ 2018 is here! I‘m going to sign up and see how I do, maybe it will help me over any reading slumps (there‘s always a reading slump).

Inspired by @emmaturi I think I will complete an #atozreadingchallenge2018. I am pretty sure I have enough paper and audiobooks on my TBR shelves to succeed! 📚🔤🇨🇦📆🤓
Who wants to join me? 😃
Oops, I see I should have included #LitsyAtoZ !

Instead of choosing titles by letter, I wrote down the titles as read, to see how my #litsyatoz panned out. These are most but not all my titles so far. I had whole months with no reading outside book clubs due to my job (the irony of being an English teacher is there is no time to read your own books) but am happy about the many wonderful books I did read. “W” had the most titles. Who would have guessed?

so close! only C, O, and Y to go. #litsyatoz

I decided to cut back my yearly reading challenges by half. I'm keeping this one, Litsy bingo, the Read Harder Challenge, and the summer Bingo my library is doing. Plus, right now the roadtrip. So. Yeah!
I made a big, prettier page for my A-Z Author Challenge.. I've only got 9 left! Suggestions??
#atozchallenge #readingchallenge

The #litsyatozreadingchallenge is the only challenge in which I've made a dent. I'm really not good at keeping up with the challenges especially if plan my reading. I'm more of a random reader and grab whatever I'm in the mood for. I've tried a TBR jar to help me keep up with the challenges but in the end I end up grabbing a different book. 😨

Oh hey... Look what I did a couple days ago... Finished my #litsyatoz title track! Notes below...

I'm visiting with my daughter and her family this week. This is my daughter and grandson learning letters. He'll be reading before we know it! #raisingreaders

#LitsyAtoZ made it to Booktube! The video is by LittleBookOwl if anyone is interested :) @BookishMarginalia

The #litsyreadingchallenge Bingo card is so helpful in keeping me in check and on track that I made a similar one to help me with my #litsyAtoZ challenge. Work in progress. I have to remember to read from my TBR books for my challenges. I tend to stay in one genre for a while and these challenges are helping me read across genres and books that I own and haven't read.

@BookishFeminist and @becausetrains encouraged me to join #litsyatoz as a way to knock out a bunch of unread books sitting on my shelves and kindle here at home. Turns out I only need to borrow one book from the library, I can do the other 25 from books I already own! So count me in after all!

I pulled all the titles I needed for #LitsyAtoZ from my TBR except Q, X and Z. (Doing title version.) Looking forward to this alphabetical adventure through my TBR pile! Guessing many of us will pull same titles at times, which adds to the fun! 📚📖 @BookishMarginalia

Signed up for @BookishMarginalia 's #litsyatoz reading challenge, and had fun making a list/heap from my shelves. Only Q and X missing. In reality, I'm sure I'll read quite randomly, but it gives me no excuse not to clear some of my tbr.

For the nerd in me...
