I won‘t finish anything tomorrow, so this is my wrap-up for February. Thanks to comfort audiobook rereads and catching up to the #nancydrewbr group, I actually managed to finish 9 books this month. Considering what a dumpster fire the first half of the month was, I will take this as a huge win. The Last Widow was my favorite of the new-to-me books. Slaughter is incredibly talented. #februarywrapup

February‘s #bookspin list is a combination of library books and NetGalley titles with a couple of random TBR titles thrown in. Several of the new releases I am most excited about are, sadly, published by St Martins/St Martins imprints, and St Martins still has not addressed concerns over rascism and Islamophobia at their imprint, Wednesday Books, so I‘m trying to honor the boycott until they do. I‘ve covered the titles on my list.

Some people prefer to make a new list every month, others just swap out what they read for something new, and others keep the same list for the whole year. Whichever way fits your reading method best is good with me!! Just be aware that all 20 numbers are always in play for the draw, so we may read the same number on the list more than once. 😁 10mo

Bookwormjillk Haha my February list is the one thing I managed to do last week. Don‘t ask me about work projects, expense reports, or laundry, or reading books on my January list, but February is a go! 4y

TheAromaofBooks @alisonrose @Kristin_Reads @Moray_Reads - All 20 numbers are in play each month, so if you choose to not edit your list each month, you have a chance that the number drawn will be a blank spot on your list. Some people choose to just replace the books they read that month or some people “double up“ books - i.e. since 20 was Jan's BookSpin, book 19 is now 19 & 20, etc. so that way you stay focused on the original list. ⬇ 4y

TheAromaofBooks @Bookishlie - I do have several people (including myself sometimes!!) who will put “library hold“ on their list instead of a specific title, so that way you have some flexibility since you don't always know which library book is going to appear!! 4y

Some people choose categories instead of specific titles (ie NetGalley, library hold, Booked2021, etc), some people spread a difficult book across more than one square (I gave Moby-Dick five slots in November!) - just whatever works for you!!! 4y

MeganAnn Started thinking about books to add to the list a few days ago... I‘m thinking February will focus on Black History Month titles as I have quite a few TBR books by black authors. With a few other book club reads and some library titles that will roll over from January. 🤔 4y

I ordered it from Book Depository & it says that they mailed it Jan. 13, but their books come from England so they are usually delayed. The other BD book I ordered the same day for another winner just arrived a day or two ago, so hopefully yours will be soon!! 4y

ChasingOm Oh my gosh, my reading in January was TERRIBLE. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think I read one off of my bingo board and it wasn't my Spin or Double Spin, lol. So I will be one of the folks posting later. I do want to try again for February though, so I'll pull my list together today! 4y
