I‘m pretty pleased with my book stats for May e en in a month with lots of work pressure & COVID that triggered my asthma & left me fatigued, I managed to finish 10 books including 2 for buddy reads (+ portions of 2 ongoing), 1 for my virtual foodie book club (I both read & listened to Taste), caught up with 3 books in a cozy series & finished up book 5 to do a book tour review in June. I also read 2 books & completed all the activities for my⬇️

I know May is half done but I wanted to throw out some #BFC2022 goals for May. I need to read 8 more to make this goal. Currently averaging 34 active zone minutes. I am on hold for #LitsyLove at the moment because I have a truly sucky mail situation currently but I am going to write all of you back! I am moving the first week of July. I cannot wait to have reliable access to mail again. 🔑 📫

My #TBR for May is once again, way too ambitious, but it‘s good to have goals. 4 #buddyreads for #sundaybuddyread & #pemberlittens & Taste for my bi-monthly virtual foodie bookclub (e-book & audiobook). A few titles I‘m going to try to get to for the #AsianPacificAmericanHeritageMonth challenge through my library & I‘m on a June book tour for the 5th book in Ellery Adam‘s Secret Book & Scone Society Series & I need to read 2-4 before it.🤷🏻‍♀️📚

My #BookSpinBingo board for May reflects that I‘m a mood reader. Sometimes I think I should be more ambiguous but this gives me a structure.

I expand the orilius magical readathon for this month and probably for June. This month I will like to read more books by Asian or from Pacific Islands authors. Also, in many countries we celebrate Mother‘s Day so it is an opportunity to read about mother/family/couple/siblings relations.

My more free tbr for April worked great so I‘m doing it again. Here is my book cart with books I most want to get to. On top are some in progress and my physical #Roll100 picks. I also will try to chip away at my Kindle & Audible tbr.

I read 16 books in May, a record reading month for me. Harry Potter, Neverwhere, and Their Eyes Were Watching God were all 5 🌟 reads.

I've read 9 books (and i've got 1 DNF).. Not bad, definitely better than April, with just a book read!

No 5 stars this month ?, my favorite were "Red, White and Royal Blue" and " Quella metà di noi"

My stats for May. A good reading month with 16 total Books finished. (We won't mention those started but not finished!) 😉There was just one that was only OK-the rest I really enjoyed & the 4 pictured were my faves for the month: a contemporary fiction, a historical fiction, a memoir & a true crime.

I dropped the ball on reviews again with 4 or 5 to review here & a bunch to review on Goodreads & NetGalley.😬
